Design Brief
I began with research, making several visits to the restaurant and website to better understand their origins, culture, unique cuisine and desired atmosphere. I conducted competitive analysis of similar restaurants, their websites to identify their target audiences.
Concept Development
I gathered all research to create a new brand identity consisting of mood-board, typography, color palette & logo sketches.
Identity Design
The final logo design was inspired by restaurant lighting decor and spices used throughout the restaurant as decorations.
Advertising
The restaurant is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. So I focused print advertising on commuters sitting in traffic thinking “What’s for dinner?”

Common Questions about project
I started with restaurant research and created a Brand Identity. Then created logos, advertising, iconography, interactive tablet menu and new website interfaces.
I created all designs in Sketch and prototyped the tablet menu and website in Invision.
To create the interactive tablet menu using native iPad features.
